We are very excited about what God is doing through outreach teams in Cambodia and throughout all of South-East Asia. Outreach teams are impacting and encouraging the local churches, ministries, and communities in amazing ways. We are currently networking with Outreach Teams Departments in all of Indochina to create an effective and strategic outreach wherever you go throughout the SE Asian region. We believe that now is God’s time for all of SE Asia and we are excited and honored to have your team be a part of fulfilling that destiny!

June 2010 Update

7 months ago Vuthy one staff working with the Teams ministry started teach English to the children in his home village on the weekends. He started with 25 children under the house of his parents. From the beginning they along with the village chief really supported the effort to bring more education into the village with 600 Families.

As Vuthy was helping to facilitate short term teams, some teams stayed in his village and contributed by teaching English, helping with activities for youth and children. Right now 50 youth are coming to learn English and also to interact with the teams, practicing English and learning about other cultures and ways of life. Vuthy also started to offer special events on Sunday with songs, stories from the bible and stories how God has brought hope in our life. Up to 50 people are joining this events.

Just a few weeks ago a team showed a movie though a projector on the big white wall, everybody was so fascinated by the motion picture shown in life size that they wanted to touch them. Also Vuthy’s parents are so impressed with the change in his life through his relationship with Christ, that they decided to also follow Jesus.

The next step is starting a Preschool for 25 Kids in the morning and 25 Kids in an afternoon class, as there is no Preschool in this village yet.
